Every live guide follows the same spine:

1. Define the UK job. Who is this for — renters, families, airline flyers, damp bedrooms?
2. Shortlist from Amazon UK. Named brands/models with consistent stock signals and clear ASIN identity.
3. Read verified feedback. Common faults, fit complaints and praise that repeats across UK buyers.
4. Score with weighted criteria. Typical weights: customer satisfaction ~30%, fit-for-job ~25%, value ~20%, usability ~15%, availability ~10%. Exact weights are on each guide.
5. Name a #1 and explain why. The Quick answer at the top of each page is the extractable winner statement.

Prices checked — when we last reviewed approximate Amazon UK price bands on the page. These are bands, not live checkout prices. Amazon changes prices frequently — always verify before purchase.
